The Royal Swedish Opera presents the two one act operas Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica from Puccini's In Trittico, staged by Wilhelm Carlsson.
The cast include several role debuts where Jeremy Carpenter, who sings the title role of Gianni Schicchi, is joined by a fantastic ensemble including Hanna Husáhr as Lauretta and Genovieffa, Katarina Leoson as La Zia Principessa, Miriam Treichl as Zita and La Zelatrice, John Erik Eleby as Simone and David Risberg as Marco. The Royal Swedish Orchestra and the Opera Chorus are led by American conductor John Fiore.
The opening night is on March 19 with further performances until May 27, 2022.
