After yesterday’s successful role debut as Eva in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Christina Nilsson returns to the stage tonight as Freia in Das Rheingold!
Christina Nilsson takes on the role of Eva for the very first time in a brand-new production of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the prestigious Bayreuth Festival. Under the baton of maestro Daniele Gatti and with stage direction by Matthias Davids, this much-anticipated production promises to be a highlight of the season.
Performances: July 25 & August 2, 5, 11, 14, 2025.
Christina Nilsson also takes the stage as Freia in Das Rheingold — a role she first performed in summer 2024 at the Bayreuth Festival, the performance is conducted by Simone Young and directed by Valentin Schwarz.
