Karolina takes on the title role in a new production of Mozart’s unfinished Singspiel!
Directed by David Hermann and conducted by George Petrou. Mozart’s fascinating fragment tells the story of Zaide and Gomatz, who fall in love while held captive and attempt to escape together. The production combines Zaide with excerpts from Mozart’s incidental music Thamos, King of Egypt, exploring themes of love, freedom and human empathy.
Karolina is joined by Michael Porter as Gomatz, Peter Marsh as Soliman, Aleksander Myrling as Allazim and Pete Thanapat as Osmin, together with the Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra.
