Vito Žuraj’s Blühen at Oper Frankfurt

In this contemporary opera in seven scenes, with a libretto by Händl Klaus, Karolina Bengtsson takes on the role of Anna. The production, directed by the legendary Brigitte Fassbaender and conducted by Michael Wendeberg, was commissioned by Oper Frankfurt and received its world premiere in January 2023. This acclaimed production now returns to the stage for a new run.

The performance is being recorded and will be released on DVD.
