AnnLouice in Wermland Opera's Eurydike
Wermland Opera presents the world premiere of Eurydike - an "industrial baroque opera" based on the myth of Orfeo and Euridice with fragments and quotes from music by Gluck and Offenbach merged with music by Einsturzende Neubauten, Joy Division and Nico.
All arrangements are made by conductor Hans Ek and the performance is staged by Linus Fellbom who's also created the stage and light design.
In the roles of Ultraviolet and Persephone, we hear AnnLouice Lögdlund, who earlier this season was a guest at the Göteborg Opera, where she sang the Brünnhilde in Götterdämmerung.
