Deutsche Oper presents Schreker's Der Schatzgräber in a new production staged by Christof Loy, led by Marc Albrecht. In the role of Elis we hear Swedish tenor Daniel Johansson.
Der Schatzgräber opens on May 1st and will be played until June 11.
Daniel Johansson has this season been a guest at the Grand Théâtre de Genève where he sung Pierre Bezukhov in Prokofiev's War and Peace. The upcoming season begins at Theater und Philharmonie Essen, where he appears in the title role in Lohengrin.
