100-year celeberation of Turandot at the Royal Swedish Opera!
On April 25, 1926, Turandot had its world premiere at La Scala in Milan. Exactly 100 years later, on April 25, 2026, the Royal Swedish Opera marks the centenary with the revival of its latest production. Conducted by Tobias Ringborg, leading the soloists, the Royal Swedish Orchestra and the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus in this production signed by Marco Arturo Marelli (direction, set, and lighting)
From May 12, Ida Falk Winland joins the cast in the role of Liù — marking a role debut for her, just as it is for Christina Nilsson in this production.
Performances: April 25 – June 9, 2026, Royal Swedish Opera, Stockholm.
