Ida Falk Winland as Gilda and Anders Lorentzson as Monterone at the Göteborg Opera
The Göteborg Opera presents a new production of Rigoletto, staged by German theatre and opera director David Bösch. In the role of Gilda we hear soprano Ida Falk Winland who was praised by audience and press after her role debut at the Royal Swedish Opera's production of Rigoletto in 2018. Anders Lorentzson appears as Count Monterone.
The Göteborg Opera Orchestra and Men’s Chorus are led by Italian conductor Francesco Angelico.
The premiere is on April 14 and Rigoletto will be played until May 29, 2022.
