Malin Byström makes her debut at the Bolshoi Theatre with Salome

Malin Byström returns to the role of Salome at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow

Malin Byström will be a guest at the Bolshoi Theatre where she sings two performances in the title role of Strauss' Salome, on May 20 and 22, 2021. The production is staged by Claus Guth and conducted by the Bolshoi Theatre music director and chief conductor Tugan Sokhiev. 

Malin Byström has this season made her Wiener Staatsoper debut with the role of Elisabeth de Valois in Don Carlos. Malin has also performed the title role of Tosca in a semi-staged concert version at Deutsche Oper in Berlin and she returned to the role this spring for a filmed concert version of Tosca at the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm.
