The Royal Swedish Opera presents Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem in Gustaf Vasa church o September 11 2021. The Royal Swedish Opera Chorus joins the Royal Swedish Orchestra led by Alan Gilbert.
As soprano soloist we hear Christina Nilsson, who made her praised role debut as Aida in 2018 at the Royal Swedish Opera. Christina has since then returned to the Stockholm Opera as Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro. Christina has also been a guest at opera huses such as Frankfurt Oper, Deutsche Oper i Berlin, Opéra de Lausanne and Oper Dortmund with roles like Elsa in Lohengrin and the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos.
