Peter Mattei sings the title role in Wozzeck at Les Arts in Valencia
Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía presents Alban Berg's Wozzeck with Peter Mattei in the title role. The praised production, staged by Andreas Kreigenburg, was originally co-produced by Bayerische Staatsoper an New National Theatre in Tokyo. The orchestra is led by James Gaffigan, in his first operatic work in the theater as Music Director.
The opening night is on May 26 with further performances on May 29 and 31 and June 3 and 5.
