Peter Mattei sings The Count in a new production of Le nozze di Figaro in Paris. Opening night on January 21st!
Opéra National de Paris presents a new production of Le nozze di Figaro, staged by British director, set designer and video artist Netia Jones, who's also created the video projections, costume- and the set design for the production.
The Paris Opera Orchestra is led by Musical director Gustavo Dudamel and in the role of The Count we hear Peter Mattei. Peter Mattei has previously appeared at the Paris Opera in roles such as Eugene Onegin, Siskov in From the House of the Dead, Amfortas in Parsifal and the title role of Don Giovanni.
The premiere of Le nozze di Figaro takes place on January 21st at Palais Garnier with further performances until February 18.
