Christina Nilsson, Johanna Rudström and Sofie Asplund in Ariadne auf Naxos in Stockholm!
The Royal Swedish Opera presents Richard Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos with Christina Nilsson in the title role of Ariadne, Sofie Asplund as Zerbinetta and Johanna Rudström as the Composer. We also find Jonas Degerfeldt in the role of Scaramuccio.
The Royal Swedish Orchestra is led by Music Director Alan Gilbert and the production is staged by Katharina Jakhelln Semb.
The premiere takes place on September 22 with performances until November 2.
